The Warren County Rescue Department is an all volunteer agency that dates back to the 1960s. Over the years the department has changed with time. However, the mission goal has remained the same; to provide general and specialized rescue services as defined by KRS 39F.
The services provided by Warren County Rescue include, but are not limited to: Search&Rescue, Water Recovery/Rescue, Cave Rescue, and High/Low Angle Rescue. The Warren County Rescue Department offers the citizens of Warren County, as well as the citizens of The Commonwealth of Kentucky, a group of highly dedicated, motivated, and trained individuals who all share the same objective - Saving Lives.
The Warren County Rescue Department is a technologically advanced agency. We utilize cutting edge equipment in our day to day operations, such as night vision gear, global positioning satellites, advanced mapping software, specialized SONAR equipment, and specialized SCUBA gear. We even have a remote controlled underwater vehicle.
Warren County Rescue falls under the jurisdiction of Emergency Management, who falls under the jurisdiction of the Department of Military Affairs. Because of this Warren County Rescue is able to deploy anywhere within The Commonwealth of Kentucky. And in certain circumstances we can deploy anywhere within the Continental United States (CONUS).
